Vernon RCMP Seek Public's Help for Armed Bank Robbery

It's been close to a month since the Interior Savings Credit Union was robbed, and RCMP are hoping the public can help.

The credit union at 4301 32nd Street was robbed at gunpoint on December 9th. Police say that the 25- to 30-year-old suspect produced a gun and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Though police have since followed up on several leads from the public, there has still been no arrest.

Investigators are putting another call out to the the public, hoping that the photos might jog a witness's memory. If you saw this suspect around the Credit Union that afternoon or know who he is, you're asked to call Vernon RCMP.

The man wore black sunglasses on the robbery and about a three-day growth of beard. The suspect is about 5'10” to 6”, with a tall slim build. Police say that he was wearing a grey stop with a orange/grey/white plaid shirt underneath, as well as grey sweat pants, brown shoes, a dark toque, and black leather gloves.

If you have any information about this suspect, call Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171 or call Crime Stoppers.
