Oh buoy! Kelowna’s 24th annual Boat Show is set to return in a few weeks on April 27 and 28. This event is completely open to the public so be sure to bring the whole family for a weekend of nautical-themed fun!
Hosted by the Kelowna Yacht Club, this annual event welcomes dozens of vendors and over 150 new and used boats.
“Each year, the Kelowna Yacht Club welcomes the opportunity to partner with our boating and local community to host the Kelowna Boat Show,” said Commodore Kent Hardisty.
“This is the largest event of our spring season and showcases our spectacular waterfront location and everything it has to offer.”
The Club is hoping to bring the community it's biggest show yet! You won't want to miss out!
From vintage boats to cabin cruisers, kayaks and other personal water toys — the event is set to have tons of things to "ooh" and "ahh" over, and even purchase. You better start brainstorming some names for your new, nautical toy!
If you're already living the lake life and are looking to amp things up, don't miss out on seeing all your favorite marine dealer and exhibitors in one place.
From detailing and audio equipment to dock repair and more, attendees can learn the latest and greatest in all things boating. You might have to use a constrictor knot to keep your boat enthusiasts from sailing away and getting lost amongst the various exhibitors.
The event also offers attendees the chance to enjoy the perks of a membership for a day!
From shopping the boats on the docks, exploring the clubhouse to learn all about the Kelowna Yacht Club’s history, to even grabbing a bite to eat in the Member Lounge, there is plenty to see and do at the Kelowna Boat Show!
A fun and affordable atmosphere, the event's admission is by cash donation with the funds garnered set to go toward supporting the Youth Sailing School, day camps and youth and family sailing lessons.
But the philanthropy doesn't end there. To further support Kelowna and those who love to take advantage of the lake, the event will also donate proceeds from the exhibitor registration towards maintaining the over 30+ community buoy's the Kelowna Yacht Club sponsors.
The excitement will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28 at 1370 Water Street. See you on the dock!
