The District of Summerland has issued a notice to the public about the bacterial count at the Gordon Beggs Rotary Beach.
The district said that swimming and other recreational activities are not recommended at this time due to bacterial counts exceeding Health Canada guidelines.
The swimming advisory has been posted by Interior Health, citing “unacceptable water quality results.”
There’s no word on how long the notice will be in effect for.
