A new sporting facility is about to open up in Penticton.
Hoodoo Adventures, a Penticton-based company is opening up a new outdoor pursuits center in the South Okanagan.
The 5,000 square-foot facility features an indoor climbing gym, a central tour booking office, and bike and kayak rentals.
“Families have been asking us for years to offer more outdoor youth programs. Now, we’re able to offer extensive programming throughout the entire year!” said Lyndie Hill, Co-Owner, Hoodoo Adventures.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming locals and visitors to this facility that will truly highlight Penticton's outdoor recreation opportunities.”
The official opening to the Outdoors Pursuit Center will take place on Saturday, March 5th.
Hoodoo Adventures will be offering special weekend rates during the opening for the climbing gym. There will be $10 day passes, plus $5 climbing gear rental packages.
The wall offers bouldering with overhangs and a cave, as well as rope climbing used for teaching and skills training.
The facility will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., starting on Saturday.
