Movie being shot in the Okanagan looking for paid extras

If you’re looking to make some extra cash and experience what it’s like to work on a movie set, there’s an opportunity in Penticton for you.

Okanagan Background Casting has put a call out for several paid extra opportunities for a movie that is being shot in Penticton.

The film, called “Change of Pace,” is ideally looking for locals and preference will be given to groups of people living in the same house or friends who are in the same “bubble.”

Casting is open to people age 17 and older, and you must be a BC resident able to work from Penticton.

You are asked to submit your application, including a recent photo with your name, phone number, email address and all the dates you are available, to adina@okanaganbackgroundcasting.com.

According to IMDB, the film follows a teen in a small-town in British Columbia.

"His offbeat father, Hank, spends more time defrauding the government than paying attention to his son," says the plot description.
