Here we grow again! The NowMedia family is so excited to announce that we are expanding to Penticton!

Just months after expanding north to Prince George, NowMedia is introducing PentictonNow as the newest member of the family.

With platforms in Kelowna, Kamloops, and Prince George, we pride ourselves on being the go-to source for community members of all ages to keep up-to-date on news, events, sports and more. We cannot wait to continue this commitment in our new home, and build the same relationships in Penticton.

We have hired on the previous editor of the Osoyoos Times, Keith Lacey, as our local reporter on the ground.

Lacey has been working in journalism since 1984, starting in Ontario, moving over to Alberta and ending up in Penticton where he intends to stay. Lacey commuted to and from Osoyoos for six and a half years working for the Times, and although he enjoyed his time there, he welcomes the opportunity to work from home in Penticton. You can view the NowMedia team here.

Who are we? NowMedia is an expanding family bringing news, storytelling, contests and lifestyle columns to the community. In Kelowna and Kamloops we are the go-to media platform that people can rely on to keep them up-to-date.

You know that friend that always knows what’s up? He or she can rattle off current events like they are acing a history class. They have definitely already been to that hip new restaurant that opened three days ago and they can tell you exactly what to order. They never miss a game of their favourite sports team, and they can recap the game in a way that makes you feel like you were there too. We're that friend.

Our reputation in all of our NowMedia communities is to tell stories in a positive, upbeat and relatable way that engages our readers and we are committed to staying consistent with this in our new home!

What can you expect from us? We will provide the residents of Penticton with a platform that they can rely on to receive news, find out event information, enter great contests, or follow a favourite column.

What sets us apart from everyone else is our commitment to keeping our content positive, highly engage with the community, and to maintain consistency with how we represent ourselves. We like to have fun, and we express our quirkiness in our writing.

Penticton, you can depend on us to give you the stuff that matters.
