A magnitude 4.4 earthquake shook 166 km southwest of Port Hardy at 6 a.m.
There are no reports of damage from the earthquake.
Another earthquake struck about 50 km south west of Seattle. The 4.2 magnitude quake was felt just before 5 a.m.
