It’s the news that British Columbian Taylor Swift fans have long waited to hear.
The Eras Tour is finally coming to Vancouver, as the pop superstar will play three back-to-back shows at BC Place in late 2024.
The dates are Dec. 6-8, which fans who live outside of Vancouver will be happy to learn that those are Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of bringing Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour to Vancouver, giving fans the experience of a lifetime,” said Terrie Tweddle, chief brand and communications officer with Rogers Communications Inc.
“Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour is the hottest ticket in town and we will be running a national contest for fans to get some of the best seats in the house in both Vancouver and Toronto.”
As Tweddle mentioned, Swift’s Vancouver dates will come less than a month after her run of six shows in Toronto.
Canadian fans felt snubbed by Swift earlier this year when she continued to announce new legs for the massive tour that didn’t have any dates in Canada.
It even led to tweets and videos from big-name politicians like Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and BC Premier David Eby, asking the 33-year-old to come north.
The December 2024 shows will be Swift’s first in Vancouver in nearly a decade, as she was last at BC Place for her 1989 World Tour in August 2015.
Fans who want to catch her in person next year are being told to register online before 5 pm on Saturday, Nov. 5.
Tickets will go on sale four days later, on Nov. 9, and only the lucky fans who receive a unique access code will be able to get passes to the show.
