The most wonderful time of year is fast approaching!
It’s finally time to get into the Christmas spirit, and there are plenty of festivities to help you do just that.
For example, you can visit Canyon Lights, A Winter Festival and take in the glorious rainforest and suspension bridge decorated with lights, and eight of the world’s tallest Christmas trees.
“Once again the 30-ton Douglas firs of Treetops Adventure will receive star treatment. Treetops Adventure is a series of seven suspension bridges attached to eight 250 years old Douglas-firs with viewing platforms, reaching up to 110 feet above the forest floor. These magnificent Douglas firs will be lit above and below the collars, making these trees the eight tallest Christmas trees in the world!” says the Canyon Lights website.
Since it’s the season for it, there will also be gingerbread cookie decorating and sing-along carols with a holiday band.
The Festival is running from Nov. 22, 2018 to Jan. 27, 2019, so you have some time to gather your friends and family for a trip to this winter wonderland. Park hours are between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. and they’ll be closed on Christmas Day.
For more information on hours, rates and park dates, visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park website here.
