Site of Kelowna Greyhound station sold for $5.25M

A massive real estate deal in Kelowna has been completed.

The site of the now-closed Greyhound station at 2366 Leckie Rd has sold for $5.25 million.

It’s a two-acre property that currently houses the 9,228 square-foot building is perfectly poised for redevelopment and densification, says HM Commercial Group.

“The property is in a prime location at the corner of Enterprise Way and Leckie Road,” said a release from HM Commercial Group.

“It is strategically located in the midst of several major shopping centres and retailers, including Kelowna Central Park, Canadian Tire, Costco, Safeway, Superstore, just one block from Orchard Park Mall and walking distance to transit.”

Greyhound vacated the building when it ceased operations in Western Canada on Oct. 31, 2018.

The purchaser of the property has not yet been named and can't be revealed by HM Commercial Group at this time.
