Canadians need to start challenging the status quo, says Cox

Jeff Cox is back on Rick and Friends and once again they’re discussing some intense, challenging topics that affect many people within Canada.

Cox and Rick Maddison reflect on the limited amount of meat produced in Canada and how this could be increased if we utilized our resources better.

During their conversation, they acknowledge the importance of food security and sustainability in Canada and how a “Canada first policy” could be very beneficial.

They exchange thoughts and opinions on the CBC and the impact its messaging has on the public.

“Canadians need to start challenging the status quo,” says Cox.

The two delve further into some other interesting topics such as power indifference, injustices and drug use among the homeless.

Despite the stereotypes of Canada, Cox expresses the importance of recognizing the issues within Canada and urges for more practical solutions to be put in place.

As opposed to decriminalizing drugs, we should have more treatment centers and rehabilitation programs to help people.

With technology surging, issues regarding cyber security are a prominent concern among many parents. Maddison and Cox emphasize that better education is needed to keep children safe online.

Tune in to this episode to hear more about the current issues Canadians are facing and common fears among parents regarding the safety of their children.
