A vehicle incident is causing major delays on the Coquihalla this afternoon.
Drive BC is currently reporting that Highway 5 is closed northbound 35 kilometres south of Merritt due to a vehicle incident.

The most recent update from DriveBC is that the highway is closed at Hope, and drivers should use Highway 1 and Highway 3 as alternate routes.
