Last night at around 5:25 p.m. the Kamloops RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 1, around 5km west of Kamloops.
OPEN - #BCHwy1 - Vehicle incident between the junction with #BCHwy5 and Abbey Rd, west of #Kamloops has the highway reduced to single lane alternating traffic. Please drive with care and watch for roadside workers. Expect delays.

According to RCMP, the vehicle was travelling eastbound with two occupants towards Kamloops when it left the road.
A 36-year-old Kamloops resident was pronounced dead on the scene.
The incident is still under investigation by both the RCMP and the BC Coroner Service.
