These are the 10 most dangerous intersections in Kelowna

The latest crash data from ICBC points to a common theme among dangerous intersections in Kelowna

As many would guess, all but two of the top 10 intersections when it comes to crashes over the past five years are along Hwy 97.

<who>Photo Credit: Google Maps</who>Springfield Road where Benvoulin Road meets Dilworth Drive is the most dangerous intersection in Kelowna that isn't attached to Hwy 97.

One of the two intersections not attached to the highway is the turning lane at Hwy 33 and Ziprick Road, while the other is the turning lane at Springfield Road where Benvoulin Road meets Dilworth Road.

Both are quite close to Hwy 97, the main artery through the heart of Kelowna.

When looking at the 2015-2019 data, the 11th most dangerous intersection on the list is Benvoulin Road and KLO Road, but it shoots up to sixth on the list when looking at just 2019 numbers.

The most dangerous intersection in Kelowna, whether you’re looking at 2015-2019 or just last year, remains the same though, and that’s Harvey Avenue and Spall Road.
