Thousands without power in Salmon Arm

Thousands of people are without power in the Shuswap this morning.

According to BC Hydro, more than 4,000 customers were plunged into the dark between 7 and 8 am.

Crews are on their way, according to BC Hydro, and are expected to arrive over the next hour.

The utility has not yet revealed the cause of the outage, but said it is under investigation.
