Justin Towill’s impressive 2022-23 season continued in Nevada last week.
The UBCO Heat men’s golfer from Kelowna went under par in all three rounds en route to his third win of the campaign.
He overcame a three-shot deficit in the final round, thanks to a pair of birdies and an eagle on the back nine, to finish seven-under par for the tournament.
Towill fired 68 (-4) in round one, 71 (-1) in round two and 70 (-2) on the final day of the tournament.
His previous two wins this season came at the UBC West Coast Collegiate and Canada West Championships, which were both played in October.
Overall, the Heat finished eighth in the team standings with a combined score of 50-over par.
