VIDEO: Man enters Naked Cafe, strips naked and orders lunch

It was a normal lunchtime crowd at the Naked Cafe on Saturday when things suddenly got weird.

A man who was waiting in line to order took off his clothes. All of them.

The shocked employees maintained their composure, while the manager politely asked the man to leave. No one at the restaurant is overly upset about the incident and the woman who was working the till that day told KelownaNow, "it's all my fault."

Naked Cafe server Venus Vendetta heard the man ask if he should take off his clothes as he approached the counter. "Can I get naked?" she recalled him asking. "Go for it," she replied, jokingly, but it turned out the man was not joking at all.

"Pants down," said Vendetta, recalling the incident, "and everyone in the line is just losing it. They're laughing and he starts ordering a Bombay Curry."

General manager Mike Huget was quick to step in. He said the man appeared to be confused between the name of the restaurant and the dress code. He asked him to leave. "And he left, " he said. "No issues."

*WARNING*

A video of the incident, which contains nudity and isn't safe for workplace viewing, was posted to Twitter by user Sparklepoo, who happened to be there at the time.

"It definitely was a shock," said Huget. "Any time when you're in an establishment and someone drops their pants, it definitely takes you aback."

No one from the restaurant felt the need to contact the RCMP.

"We'll definitely laugh it off," said Huget, but he took the opportunity to clarify. "No animal products. Clothing required."
