Police are searching for suspects in two unsolved crimes in West Kelowna.
Recently, a man reported to West Kelowna RCMP that he was robbed at the Ross Road Bus Exchange, at Ross Road and Hewl Road, on January 8th.
Sometime around 6:30 or 7 p.m., a man got out of the driver’s side of a red van parked near the bus stop.
The man pointed a can of bear spray in the victim’s face and demanded he give him everything. The man handed over his backpack and the suspect ran back to the van without using the spray.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his 20’s, approximately six feet two inches tall, and was wearing a black jacket, white baggy pants, and a black brimmed baseball cap at the time.
The second incident has to do with the theft of a motorbike.
The owner of a trailer parked at the National Storage compound on Stevens Road in West Kelowna called in to report that a motorbike was stolen off the trailer.
The missing bike is an orange and black 2008 KTM 65 SX with serial number VBKMRA2358M045345.
