The Kelowna Rockets' seven game win streak came to a screeching halt on Wednesday, as they were defeated 4-1 by the Everett Silvertips.
The Rockets started the game strong as James Hilsendager laid a huge hit on an unsuspecting Connor Dewar, who paid a visit to the Rockets' bench.

The Tips opened the scoring on the power play at 5:30 of the first period, but Dillon Dube evened things up just 11 seconds later.
Less than four minutes later, the Tips netted the game winning goal on a shot from the blueline.
The Rockets struggled to get shots on net, appearing to be looking for the perfect slot to beat Carter Hart.
The Silvertips seemed to seal the deal in the second period when Dominic Zwerger put away the third Tips' goal. Zwerger later added an empty-netter, giving the Tips the 4-1 win.
Dillon Dube and Calvin Thurkauf were arguably the best players on the ice for the Rockets Wednesday. Both made great effort to set up plays, but shots were hard to come by. The Rockets only put five shots on net in the third period.
Carter Hart made 26 saves for the Silvertips. Michael Herringer accepted the loss for the Rockets, stopping 25 of 28 shots that he faced.
The Rockets welcome the Vancouver Giants to Prospera Place on Friday, March 17th for the final regular season game on home ice before facing the Giants in Langley on Saturday, March 18th for their regular season finale.
