After tonight’s game, both teams will hop on their respective buses and travel down to Everett for the second of the weekend home-and-home.
The Rockets are back from a four game road trip where the team earned seven of a possible eight points in their first tests with Mallette behind the bench as head coach.
Everett has won six straight games heading into the weekend, including a 8-1 shellacking of the Tri-City Americans on Wednesday.
The Silvertips are sixth in the CHL Top-10 Rankings and are one of the favourites to come out of the WHL and represent the league at this year’s Memorial Cup.
Kelowna is once again without captain Nolan Foote, as well as Sean Comrie, Liam Kindree and Michael Farren.
Puck drop on Friday night is at 7 pm and tickets are still available.
