National racquetball championships will include six Kelowna players

Six members of the Kelowna junior racquetball team have qualified to represent B.C. at the Canadian junior national championships being held in Kelowna April 20-23.

<who>Photo Credit: Contributed </who>Richard Gauthier is the Team BC coach.Spencer Bell (16U), Joey Lee (12U) and Kevin Lee (8U) of Kelowna all finished first in their division at the B.C. junior championships in Langley on the weekend to qualify for nationals.

Joining them at the Canadian championships will be Kelowna teammates Malaya Galigan (girls 14U) and Mitchell Bell (12U), both of whom placed second at provincials, and Cadan Klassen, a third-place finisher in the 8U boys division.

The Global Fitness & Racquet Centre in Kelowna will play host to the Canadian junior champion, with Richard Gauthier of the Kelowna club as head coach of the B.C. team.
