It looks like Colton Sissons will be sticking around in Nashville for some time.
The former Kelowna Rockets captain inked a lengthy contract extension with the Predators today, which will see him get paid $20 million over the next seven years.
The 25-year-old had 15 goals and 30 points in 75 games this past season.
"He's a heart and soul player who is versatile and can fill many important roles on our team, including on the penalty kill and power play,” said Davild Poile, Predators GM.
“His offensive production has increased each season, and he remains an integral part of our defensive structure down the middle of the ice.”

Poile added that Sissons is an “up-and-coming leader” in the Preds organization, something the team values strongly.
Sissons had 159 points in 182 games for the Rockets during his WHL career, which begun after he spent a single season with the BCHL’s Westside Warriros (now West Kelowna Warriors).
He was drafted in the second round, 50th overall, by Nashville in 2012.
