After a whirlwind few weeks, The West Kelowna Warriors have more uplifting news. The Junior 'A' Hockey Club has announced their leadership group for the 2018/2019 season.

Tilsley, at 20-years-old, has played two seasons as a Warrior, playing a total of 78 regular season games, racking up 11 goals, 25 points and 134 penalty minutes.

Prior to his time in West Kelowna, Tilsley spent time with the Prince George Spruce Kings back in the 2015/2016 season and half the 2016/2017 season.

“I’m honoured to be named captain for such a great team and organization,” said Tilsley.

“I am very proud of what my teammates have done before this season has started, and I’m very excited to accomplish even more on the ice with them. I have had amazing leaders in the past that have helped me become the player and person I am today, and I hope to have the same effect on my teammates.”

19-year-old Dhailwal is entering his third season with the Warriors. Over his time with the team, he has been a part of 98 regular season games, scoring 23 goals totaling 70 points. In addition, Dhaliwal has also been a part of eight playoff games, earning two goals and five points.
