As we approach another weekend, mother nature has decided once again to make the drive to the coast a difficult one.
While the Coquihalla remains fairly bare considering the conditions, the Connector has accumulated a nice layer of snow overnight.
DriveBC has placed warnings for slippery, slushy driving conditions on the Connector.
There’s also a warning in place for blowing snow around the Pennask Summit.
Webcams show snow almost the entire way from Kelowna to the summit, but the roads do clear up as you get towards Merritt.
If you’re driving the Connector today, watch your speed, use caution and feel free to e-mail news@kelownanow.com with any road updates once you’re not driving.
You can also call road updates to the KelownaNow newsroom by calling 250-569-9626, hands free of course.
