Environment Canada has upped its snow prediction for Tuesday.
A moist Pacific frontal system will bring heavy snow to the southwestern Interior, with snowfall intensifying later this morning. About 25 centimetres is expected for Kelowna while West Kelowna and Peachland can expect 35 cm by Wednesday morning.
With temperatures expected to fall well below freezing, roads, walkways and parking lots may be difficult to navigate.
“Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve,” reads the winter storm warning from Environment Canada. “Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.”
