Kelowna weather: Chance of snow later in the day

After the first notable snowfall of the season on Monday, we could be in for a bit more of the white stuff today.

However, it won’t arrive until later on, as we’re in for a mainly cloudy morning in the Kelowna area.

It could be a bit breezy at times as well as we push up to a high of 0°C this afternoon.

Environment Canada expects there to be snow beginning around 3 pm, with between 2-4 cm anticipated, becoming a mix of wet snow and rain this evening.

That trend will carry through the night, transitioning us into a rainy Wednesday as it warms up to around 5°C midweek.

As a result, the overnight low is the same as today’s high, as the temperature will start to rise in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
