Kelowna weather: High of 35ºC, no rain expected

Kelowna is back under a heat warning as temperatures climb into the mid-30s today.

The day begins mainly sunny and warm, with temperatures near 19ºC early this morning.

The heat will build steadily through the morning, reaching the upper 20s by noon.

The afternoon high is expected to hit 35ºC.

Skies are expected to stay mainly sunny, with no rain in the forecast.

Winds will pick up from the north at 20 km/h, gusting to 40 km/h, this afternoon and continue into the evening.

Conditions will stay clear tonight, with temperatures falling to around 16ºC by early Wednesday morning.
