Weather with Wesla: A wet weekend ahead

June is the wettest month of the year according to climate statistics for Kelowna so it’s no surprise we have more rain coming this weekend.

We’ve been talking about how this is the month of “upper lows”, and another one of these weather features will keep rain falling on and off through the next few days.

There will also be the risk of late day thunderstorms this weekend.

The best chance of any sunny breaks will be on Friday, as well as Sunday afternoon.

Daytime highs will also stay below seasonal in the teens or low 20s.

Have a great weekend, Kelowna.
