For all the businesses in the community looking forward to taking part this year, we’ve put together a guide to help answer your questions!
Nominations are open as of April 4, 2024 at 10 am PST, closing on April 15, 2024 at 3 pm PST.
Voting opens May 6, 2024 at 10 am PST for a period of 12 days, closing on May 17, 2024 at 3 pm PST.
To register your business please go to the Members Page and create an account. You will need to verify your email account. If you did not receive an email verification, double-check the email address you submitted, also check your email junk/spam folder(s). The email verification will be sent by notifications@bestof.kelownanow.com.
Please note all notifications will be coming from this email address so please add it to your Contacts so you don't miss an email notification.
Once you have verified your account you can then "Register My Business" on your Account Page. Begin by first searching your business name to claim your listing. If it does not exist please create your Business Profile, fill in all of the information and click on Update Profile. Once that is complete your Business Profile enters into a Queue for approval, once the business is approved, nominators that type in your business's name will see it in an autofill dropdown as they fill in the form fields.
If your listing already exists and you have added yourself as a manager to the profile we will verify the details in 48-72 hours via email. To speed up the verification process use your company email address that matches your websites domain. Please make sure your email address is spelled correctly.
We’ve made it easier than ever to share updates and encourage your supporters to nominate and vote. Here you’ll find images that you can use on social media, as well as buttons for your website. Feel free to use them throughout Best of Kelowna 2024!
We offer over 300 categories to provide as many industries and businesses as possible a chance to shine. While we aspire to cover every niche, practical constraints prevent us from doing so entirely. For 2024, we've made adjustments to the categories based on community engagement, removing those with low nomination and voting numbers.
We encourage you to share your thoughts through our Feedback Form. Please note that we prioritize responses submitted through this Feedback Form. Email or phone requests will not be considered and users and businesses will be directed to fill out the Feedback Form.
Businesses located from Peachland to Lake Country, and the Big White area are eligible for nomination unless otherwise noted on the category.*
