Positive vibes at Moses Falls

Directions:

Follow Highway 1 to Revelstoke, B.C. Turn left at the first set of lights before the bridge, onto Westside Road. Follow this road for about 6 Kilometres until you reach the parking lot on the right hand side.

Description:

Located in Revelstoke, B.C., Moses Falls is a stunning little hidden gem! Whether it be during spring run-off, when the creek has a strong, energetic flow or the soothing, peaceful sounds in the summer. Not only do waterfalls paint the perfect scenery, the falling water creates strong negative ions, which also create positive vibes. This fairly short hike is perfect to put a little pep in the step!

There are two options to get down to Moses Falls or it can easily be done as a loop. The first option: from the parking lot, walk down the wide gravel road which offers great views of the Columbia River and the Revelstoke Dam. Once along the river, turn left and walk along the left side of Moses Creek to the grand view of the falls!

The second option: from the parking lot, follow the well-traveled path down across the gravel road into the forest. The trail brings you beside the creek, giving a great perspective of each tier of cascading falls! There are a few steep sections and can be very slippery and muddy when wet.

Always be mindful of your surroundings, pack out what you pack in, stick to the trails, and happy exploring!!
