Description:
The trail to Fintry Falls is fairly short and is great for the whole family! There are around 400 stairs leading to several spectacular view points, each offering a slightly different angle of the impressive two tiered waterfall! If you continue past the stairs to the upper canyon along Shorts Creek, there are a couple of smaller, but just as enjoyable, waterfalls.
Fintry Provincial Park offers a variety of activities from hiking, swimming, camping, fishing and even scuba diving to an old Canadian Pacific Railway barge. This area is also full of historical farm buildings from the 1900's. You can download an informative brochure titled, “Self Guided Nature Walk” on the BC Parks Website.
Always remember to be mindful of your surroundings, pack out what you pack in, stick to the trails, and Happy Exploring!
