Directions:
Located in Revelstoke, turn south on Highway 23 heading towards the Shelter Bay Ferry. Follow Highway 23 for 26 km, where you will find the turn off for Blanket Creek Provincial Park on the left-hand side.
Trail Description:
Beautiful Sutherland Falls is located in the Blanket Creek Provincial Park in Revelstoke.
What was once just a farmland is now a perfect park situated along the shores of the Upper Arrow Lakes.
The trail to Sutherland Falls should only take five to 10 minutes. The flat, wide, gravel pathway is perfectly manageable for everybody. The viewpoint for Sutherland Falls offers a spectacular view of the rushing water falling straight down a 35-40 foot drop.
There are a couple other short trails to explore in the area. From walking through the new and old growth of the white pine forest, down to the sandy, man-made swimming hole, Blanket Creek Provincial Park offers some great activities to choose from including hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and camping!
It's a great place to get the entire family out for a day of exploring!
