KelownaNow is teaming up with HikingAddiction to host the first annual KelownaNow hike. It will include a photo contest with some great prizes, so you’re not going to want to miss it!
There's something about being out in nature that refreshes and relaxes us. Standing on a mountain top is unparalleled in both the beauty of the view and the satisfaction of using nothing but your legs to get you up there. It encourages us to unplug, even if it's just for a few moments, and sit in awe of the natural world.
It’s time to strap on the hiking shoes and get outside! If you’ve been itching to head out on an adventure, but just don't know where to go, this is for you. We’re here to connect young outdoor enthusiasts in the Okanagan, regardless of your experience or fitness level, with a guided hike up Sugarloaf Mountain.
Hosted by Josh Hoggan, founder of local organization HikingAddiction, it is guaranteed to be a fun event full of fresh air and great people. Free to join and no commitment required, HikingAddiction is a group of adults ranging in age from their 20’s to 40’s that provides a platform for both locals and visitors to explore new areas and meet new people with similar interests.
