Solo sex has officially joined Hotel Zed's pleasure-soaked Valentine's Day 'nooner' campaign.
"People have fantastic sex in hotel rooms, and that includes sex with yourself," said Mandy Farmer, CEO of Hotel Zed, which has locations in Kelowna, Victoria and Tofino.
"With the 'Self-Love Nooner,' we're giving you permission to put yourself at the top of your 'to-do list' this Valentine's Day. Taking an extended lunch break to focus on your own pleasure? Now, that's a wonderful way to give your mind and body a boost."

This year's 'nooner' edition is suggestively dubbed 'Come as You Are' and puts solo sex front and centre.
The three-hour afternoon delight package includes use of a virtual reality Meta Quest 3 headset loaded with 'ethically sourced' sexy content to help rev you up.

It was a decade ago when Hotel Zed, which has always positioned itself as funky, quirky, cutting-edge and retro, launched the 'nooner' package for Valentine's Day, urging couples to indulge in some mid-day carnal fun.
The offer, on Valentine's Day only, was a room at Hotel Zed from 11 am to 2 pm for the spicy price of $69.
The campaign blew up the traditional Valentine's scene of Cupid's roses and chocolates and an overpriced dinner out and received tons of attention for its innovation, frankness and sultriness.
Hotel Zed is a advocate of every mid-day Valentine's rebel hopping on the love train, regardless of gender, sexual orientation and relationship status and whether it be for a solo mission or shared with a partner.

Over the years, the 'nooner' has also latched onto some annual themes such as 'nooner babymaker,' 'all the love from A to Zed' and 'shaggin' wagon' (a nod to the hotel's signature retro VW vans.)
The 'babymaker' edition rewarded the couple that welcomed an infant nine months later with free stays at Hotel Zed every Valentine's Day for the next 18 years and a flurry of publicity.
This year's self-love theme is also aimed at starting the conversation about wellness and sexual health.
