Summer photo contest winner

The summer of 2017 is getting closer and closer to an end, but Kelowna had some good times to show for it.

We asked our readers to send in their summer photos and video using #KelownaNowSummer for a chance to win an awesome prize - a gift certificate for a one night stay at a Prestige Resort, a $100 Esso gas gift card, and a $100 in cash for dinner.

"During the height of the flooding this summer the lake was so calm because there were no power boats on the lake -- otherwise I would never kayak down the middle of Okanagan Lake on a Sunday afternoon in the summer boating season. (And the water is rarely covering this much of gull island.)"
