VIDEO: Family of orcas put on a show for passengers aboard BC Ferries vessel

A special moment took place on a BC Ferries journey between Victoria and Vancouver.

A video was shared on YouTube by a page called the Salish Sea Orca Squad of a very special encounter.

The family of orcas were swimming through the Active Pass from the north on Sunday, at the same time as the ferry.

The group said that the whales, identified as the T049As and T099s, milled on some pinnipeds before heading back into the Strait of Georgia.
