Meet the Face of Real Estate: Scott Marshall

Scott Marshall is driven by passion, trusted by many, and backed by over a century of real estate experience on his path to No.1.

Scott is a realtor and associate broker with ReMax Kelowna.

“I’m glad that I could make thousands of trustworthy connections that pushed me to be the No. 1 producing individual realtor at the No. 1 producing ReMax office in BC,” he says.

Scott is as comfortable selling a single-family home, townhouse or condominium as he is a huge acreage, luxury lakeshore home, commercial or industrial property.

“With over $200,000,000 in sales, I feel very comfortable with most property types that come across my desk, and genuinely get excited every time my phone rings,” says Scott.

“I share the same level of expertise and care on every transaction I am involved with.”

For sellers, of course, the standard professional photography, videography, virtual walkthroughs, drone footage, flyers, and social media presence are a given on each and every listing.

For buyers, they can expect access to off-market properties, data-driven information for making an informed decision on one of the biggest financial decisions of their life, and a ferocious negotiator that has experience on every property type.

With the slowing real estate market, you need a great realtor, not just a good one.

And Scott is a great one.

While other realtors cut back on marketing because of tough times, Scott is aggressively expanding market reach so he can find the right buyer for his clients that are selling their property and the right home for his clients searching for a property.

“I thrive in providing a low-pressure environment. I am by my client’s side at all times,” says Scott.

“I am privileged to be able to assist my clients with such a wide array of property types to the highest level. I truly enjoy helping my clients fulfill their property goals while creating a lasting relationship, and look forward to creating many more.”

Scott combines these exceptional people skills with a data-driven approach.

He publishes the quarterly ‘Marshall Acreage Report’, a document that’s available online, and the 64-page magazine is sent to over 11,000 acreage and farm owners quarterly.

The ‘Marshall Lakeshore Report’ is also published online, and the physical magazine is sent to every owner of waterfront property in the Okanagan quarterly.

The reports expose thousands of prospective buyers to listings in a format that hasn’t been seen before in the Okanagan.

Success in real estate is a family affair .

Scott’s dad was a realtor and the Marshall family has been farming and developing real estate in Kelowna since 1911.

The Thorlakson side of his family has been farming in the Commonage area of Vernon for even longer.

“My family has had the pleasure of seeing the Okanagan evolve over the last five generations, and I look forward to leaving my own stamp on this community that we have been able to call home for over a century,” says Scott.

“Plus, I grew up seeing my dad be a very successful realtor in the Okanagan, and, as a result, I was surrounded by the business from a young age. I could see that it was a career that, when done right, could have an extremely meaningful impact on peoples’ lives.”

So, right after high school, Scott attended UBC to earn a bachelor of commerce degree with a double specialization in real estate and finance.
It has all set him up to excel as a realtor.
