The Faces of Executive Development

ActionEdge Executive Development’s mindset and personal performance division is set to take off in 2023.

“Our primary focus is to continue to grow our increasingly requested mindset, personal performance and emotional intelligence services,” says ActionEdge managing partner Jarrod Stanton.

"Of course 'personal performance' is at the core of nearly everything we have trained, coached, and delivered on over the past 16 years. But, the past 18 months has seen an extraordinary increase in specific requests for programs, workshops, and retreats featuring the mindset and human side of things.”

In 2022, ActionEdge grew to operate out of offices in Vancouver, Kelowna and Calgary.

It has hosted a myriad of private and public executive workshops and retreats covering all levels of leadership training and development.

The traditional suite of executive development services ranges from 90-day planning and long-term planning to strategic thinking/execution planning and objective and key results setting.

What’s new and exciting is that ActionEdge has combined existing personnel and resources with the new, best-in-class facilitators and leaders to create the innovative business division centered exclusively on, and in celebration of, humans.

This dedicated human branch of ActionEdge offers retreats, workshops, training, coaching, consulting and personal assessments in the areas of mindset, mindfulness, stress management, confidence, self leadership, diversity, inclusion, social awareness, mediation, organizational and employee psychology, psychometric assessments, emotional intelligence, and much more.

When the emerging suite of services grew to the point of requiring a dedicated division leader - the choice was natural and obvious.
Long-time and accomplished mindset performance coach and facilitator of 20+ years Tracey Delfs was eager to step up and chair the human-centered branch.

After decades of working with professional and olympic athletes, CEOs, and executives across top corporations, Delfs has always been committed to making an impact with her clients.

She views this role as an opportunity to expand that impact to more people in more organizations.

"Leading and working alongside this team of professionals dedicated to serving the humans within organizations is a charge I accept with great pride and great excitement," says Tracey.

"The need for specific resources building the awareness, best practices, and skills of individuals, and of human to human dynamics within organizations has never been greater. I'm certain I'm in exactly the right position, with exactly the right team, and the most urgent time ever to reach the people we need with our services."

Kelowna is the go-to destination for ActionEdge off-site retreats and multi-day workshops because it has so many scenic venues.

To coordinate such events, ActionEdge is thrilled to partner with established and respected local leader Ester Pike as a core component of the newly forged human-focused division.

"When you add a professional of Ester's abilities and track record it's very humbling", says Jarrod.

"We are committed to having experienced specialists in our firm so every clients’ organization can access the professionals they need for their engagement. Ester is one of many who chose to join us when she literally could do anything she wanted with her professional resume. So yes, it's exciting that she wants to be a part of what we're building here.”

“You just don’t grow organizations, you must grow your people by investing in their leadership and development resources, as well as investing in impactful events and experiences that allow them to flourish, allow them to be challenged and allow them to share these moments with their teammates,” Jarrod sums up.

“Then they will grow the organization. Those nodding their heads as they read this are the leaders that are our clients.”
