A Kelowna woman has gone missing in Peru

The mother of a Kelowna woman is pleading for help to find her daughter who was last seen in Peru.

Julie Anne Baker was last seen two weeks ago in Lima, Peru.

According to her mother, Lynne Currie-Tickell, communication from Baker stopped abruptly, which is greatly concerning.

Currie-Tickell says it’s very unlike her to go this long without contacting her family.

She’s described as a 37-year-old Caucasian female who is 5’6”, around 110 lbs and has blonde hair as well as a sleeve tattoo.

Anyone with any kind of information about Baker’s situation or whereabouts is asked to contact the BC RCMP or the Canadian Embassy in Peru.

Currie-Tickell says her daughter may also be in Brazil or Costa Rica at this point, so any information to narrow the search would be helpful.
