On June 3rd 1989, the Sky Dome in Toronto opened its doors and its roof for the very first time. Now known as Rogers Centre, the Sky Dome was and is still known as one of the most versatile entertainment centres in the world!

The Sky Dome was the original home of the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club, World Series Champions in 1992 and 1993, as well as the Toronto Argonauts Football Team who won the Grey Cup in 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, and 2012.

The venue was a breathtaking technological breakthrough when it was completed 25 years ago Tuesday, and it continues to be one of Toronto’s top three tourist attractions and a model for architects of domed stadiums worldwide.
