Salmon Arm Mounties looking for owner of 'precious metal'

Salmon Arm Mounties are looking for the owner of some “precious metal” described as “high value.”

It was found on May 6, police said.

The police did not provide any other information about the mystery item, instead explaining that the “rightful owner” of the metal will have to “provide a detailed description of the item.”

That must include the serial number or other proof of ownership, the RCMP said in a news release.

Police said anyone who is missing “a high value single piece of precious metal” should call the detachment at 250-832-6044.
