BC has released a four step plan outlining the easing of COVID-19 health restrictions and a proposed return to normal by September.
Effective Tuesday, indoor social gatherings can take place within one household with up to five visitors.
Indoor dining at restaurants for tables up to six people, regardless of household, will also return effective immediately.
Outdoor recreational sports are now back on for adults and kids as well as low-intensity indoor fitness classes.
Restrictions will continue to ease in the coming weeks.
As of June 15, outdoor gatherings will be permitted for up to 50 people while indoor socializing will remain capped at five people.
British Columbians will also be encouraged to travel across the province at that time.
High-intensity indoor fitness classes will be acceptable after June 15 as well.
Movie theatres will also open with a maximum occupancy of 50 people.
Moving into July, BC is "optimistic" that casinos, bingo halls and nightclubs will be able to open at a limited capacity.
If all goes according to plan, fans will be allowed to return to sporting events and concerts by Sept. 7.
The current masking mandate could be lifted by July as well.
