An already-exciting Denim on the Diamond lineup has just got even better.
Organizers have revealed that The Cadillac Three has been added to the lineup and will be playing at the festival on Saturday, Sept. 2.
The country rock trio from Nashville are known for their high-energy shows and they will bring that electric stage presence to the stage at Denim in September.
“We try to give the audience something they can get lost in for a couple of hours and forget about anything else,” the band says. “It’s usually a party crowd and usually a good amount of beer-drinking along with everything else — always up-tempo and high-energy.”
The Cadillac Three has released five studio albums over their 12 years in existence and been nominated for several big-name awards, both in the country music scene and at the Grammys.
Lead singer Jaren Johnston has had his own success as a songwriter as well, and has written nine number one hits for artists like Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Dallas Smith and Jake Owen.
“They are one of our favorite artists, and they have toured with and supported the biggest names in country and rock, from Luke Combs, Eric Church, Travis Tritt and Dierks Bently to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Metallica,” reads a statement from Thick As Thieves Entertainment, the group behind Denim.
“Having performed on the biggest stages like Bonnaroo, Coachella, Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza and Stagecoach, it is pretty exciting to bring this caliber of musician to Denim.”
The Cadillac Three will join Nate Smith, Mackenzie Porter, Mo Lowda, Griffen Palmer, Raquel Cole and several local performers on the Saturday schedule for Denim. Josh Ross has been removed from the lineup due to a scheduling conflict.
Bryce Vine will headline Friday night’s festivities, with Rêve, Preston Pablo and others also scheduled to perform before him that night.
It’s year number five for Denim at King’s Stadium and the event has sold out the past three years, so don’t wait too long to secure your tickets to the Labour Day long weekend bash.
