UPDATE: Back to the 90's show at Prospera Place cancelled

(UPDATE: July 27 @ 11:10 a.m.) - If you were looking forward to throwing it back 20 years with the Back to the 90's tour at Prospera Place, you're going to be disappointed.

The Kelowna date, set for Tuesday, Aug. 21, has been cancelled, due to an apparent scheduling conflict.

Refunds are now available through the point of purchase, with those buying tickets online or by phone getting them automatically.

If you purchased your ticket in person at the box office, however, you'll have to bring your person back there to get a refund.

(Original story: June 4 @ 7:45 a.m.) - This show is sure to bring you back in time at least 20 years.

The Back to the 90’s tour will be rolling into Kelowna this summer, featuring four popular acts from the last decade of the 20th century.

Vanilla Ice, Young MC, Rob Base and C+C Music Factory will all be apart of the show, which hits Prospera Place on Tuesday, Aug. 21.

For Vanilla Ice, his hit song “Ice Ice Baby” skyrocketed to number one on the Billboard Music Charts in 1990, vaulting him to a career where he sold 25 million albums worldwide.

Rob Base, along with DJ E-Z Rock, were a hip hop duo from New York that are best known for their hit song “It Takes Two,” which went multi-platinum.

There aren’t many people on the planet who don’t know Young MC’s smash hit “Bust a Move” from his debut album Stone Cold Rhymin.

Meanwhile, C+C Music Factory is the work of dance producers Robert Clivilles and David Cole, featuring Freedom Williams as the lead vocalist, and are best known for their hit song “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now).”

Through all four acts of this show, the hits will be flying at you fast and furious, so be sure to grab a ticket and not miss out on this taste of the 90s.

They go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. through Select Your Tickets.

You can also grab tickets over the phone (250-762-5050) or in person at the Prospera Place box office.
