Early bird passes now available for 32nd annual Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival

It’s been about a month since the dates for the 2024 Roots and Blues Festival were announced and early bird passes are now available.

After the 2023 festival was cancelled just one day into the weekend due to wildfires, the Salmon Arm Folk Music Society (SAFMS) is excited to welcome people back to the Shuswap region in late July 2024.

When the SAFMS announced that they were moving next year’s festival back a month, they said they hoped the festival would benefit from better weather in July and attendees wouldn’t be impacted by the wildfire smoke that is typically seen in August.

“Changing dates isn’t a band-aid fix but a chance to be better prepared,” said David Gonella, executive director of SAFMS.
