Somehow, it’s been 15 years since Evanescence embarked on a headline Canadian tour.
That will change later this year as the band will head from British Columbia to Ontario on a nine-date tour in October.
It will begin in Vancouver, but the second stop will be at Prospera Place in Kelowna on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
While Evanescence hasn’t been quite as loud in the rock world in recent years, they recently marked 21 years since the release of their breakthrough debut album Fallen.
It included hits like “Bring Me to Life,” “Going Under” and “My Immortal,” which helped kickstart the young band’s career.
Now grizzled veterans of the rock scene, Evanescence’s 2024 Canadian tour will include Halestorm as special guests, as well as The Warning as an opening act.
Those looking to see the band in person can get tickets through an artist presale beginning at 10 am on Wednesday, April 24.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 am on Friday, April 26, through Live Nation.
