Event Schedule
“The Butterfly Effect is more than just a community event. It’s centered around remembrance, connection, and celebration of life. It gives people permission to remember openly, speak their loved one’s name. The release helps normalize grief and reminds people that healing doesn’t mean forgetting, ” says Ian Kunitski, Director of Programs and Services. “We welcome all individuals and families to join us on June 20th at Falcon Ridge Farms.”
Butterflies are available for purchase for $55 each, or in packs of 3 for $150. The net proceeds from The Butterfly Effect will benefit COHA’s grief and bereavement services for all ages allowing barrier free access. To reserve butterflies, visit here.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy the peaceful outdoor setting with live music, family activities, a Memory Wall to leave messages for their loved ones, and light refreshments from local suppliers. Seating is not provided, so bringing a lawn chair or blanket is recommended; guests are also reminded to dress for the weather as this is a fully outdoor event. Golf cart shuttles will be available to bring those with mobility differences from the parking area to the event site.
