As the weather has been consistently above zero, the mountain access will be open for everyone to enjoy. The gate to the first lookout has been open since March 13th.
Knox Mountain Drive is open to vehicles from 9:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, Mountain Drive is open from noon until 9:00 p.m.
Knox Mountain Park is open daily between 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
For the safety of all park users and wildlife, dog owners are reminded that dogs must be on-leash when in the park. An owner of a pet that comes into conflict with a wild animal is liable for a $345 fine under the Wildlife Act.
Owners are also reminded to be courteous and bring bags to pick up after their dogs.
