A popular fast-food Mexican restaurant will be opening its first BC Interior location in the heart of Kelowna next year.
It will set up shop in Spall Plaza and be the 20th Chipotle in British Columbia, but the chain's first location outside of the Lower Mainland.
While a specific date has not been announced, a spokesperson said it won't open until later in 2026. They added that the store is hiring and there are 30 jobs on average per location.
According to the spokesperson, Chipotle offers competitive benefits that include a $200 bonus for employees who refer a crew member and a $750 bonus for employees who refer an apprentice or general manager.
The organization also offers tuition reimbursement, retirement savings matching and access to mental healthcare for employees. More information about jobs can be found online at this link.
