(UPDATE: Nov. 15 @ 2:35 pm): An additional case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Kelowna Secondary School.
The affected person from that school is now self-isolating and contact tracing is underway.

(Original Story: Nov. 15 @ 2:30 pm): Interior Health is warning residents after a positive COVID-19 test at an Okanagan school.
According to IH, a member of the community at KLO Middle School in Kelowna tested positive for the virus. The affected person is now self-isolating and with support from local public health teams.
At this point, Interior Health is following up with the carrier and contact tracing is underway.
"The safety and well-being of students, families, and staff remain our highest priority," wrote SD23. "Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible."
